The drawings, sculptures and installations of Paris-based artist Mathilde Roussel investigate the nature of physical life. Apart from being visually striking, her wheatgrass sculptures in particular play with the sense of  growth and decay of life. These sculptures are titles from her Lives of Grass series. They are made from soil, wheat seeds, recycled metal and fabric.
