Shame – Trailer

The first time actor Michael Fassbender and director Steve McQueen joined forces, they delivered one of the most moving, harrowing and haunting movies of the past decade, 2008’s Hunger. Now comes their second creative partnership in the form of Shame. Fassbender plays a sex addict who can’t emotionally connect with women. Shame may not sound like Friday night date material, but it’s been a standout on the festival circuit and highly praised by audiences and critics alike. With McQueen’s poetic visual aesthetic and Fassbender’s skill at endgendering pathos through performance, this is one to watch. Check out the trailer below:
