Nils Guadagnin’s Hoverboard

French artist Nils Guadagnin has unveiled a working design of a hoverboard. Made (in)famous by the films Back to the Future Part II and Part III, the hoverboard is a fictional hovering skateboard. But Guadagnin’s design may be the first step to making the hoverboard science fact. Guadagnin’s hoverboard levitates on electromagnets and is stabilised by lasers. It wobbles when prodded, and ducks up and down. But, unfortunately, it’s unrideable – so far. Scope the video below.
