Romance Was Born Spring/Summer 2010/11 – The Best Show From Rosemount Australian Fashion Week

8 May

I wish I’d attended Romance Was Born‘s Spring/Summer 2010/11 “Renaissance Dinosaur” show this week. Australian design duo Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales created the label 5 years ago after becoming friends studying fashion together at East Sydney Technical College – and they’ve come a long way. As always, the RWB collection, showcased on Wednesday night as part of Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, mixed wearable garments with whimsical flights of fancy. The lucite-heeled print boots and heels were a collab with Terry Biviano – and this year’s the artist collab was with Kate Rhodes.
