XXYYXX is the name of Florida-based producer Marcel Everett. The 16-year-old has been tinkering with beats in his bedroom and the resulting output has been prolific. His ambient minimalist beats and harmonies are reminscent of Nicolas Jaar or James Blake. Everett’s music is the perfect sonic counterpoint to the hustle and bustle of modern life.
