Have you ever been on a date or in a meeting and longed for your phone to ring to give you an excuse to leave? Well, so have the folks at start-up company Magic Tap. They’ve created Fake Calls, an iPhone app that is available for download in the Apple App Store for the princely sum of $1.19 (AUD). You can customise the caller name or number, decide when to receive the call, change the wallpaper for the caller ID and set the phone up to ring or vibrate. And the best bit? Fake Calls does not actually initiate a call so no airtime charges apply. Kiss goodbye to bad dates and boring meetings!
